Classes

I'll post any classes I hear about when I hear about them.

I hear that the University of Penn and the Michigan State offer great classes on-line and on-demand. I've no personal experience but that's what I hear.

2024

Every year, in conjuncture with my nuc sales I have a "new beekeeper orientation class". It is just an hour or two of hands on learning. This is NOT a class on how to keep bees but rather on how to put on your veil, how to light your smoker and how to manipulate a hive. You will see brood, honey, a queen, drones and whatnot. This is just to get your hands wet. Take a class on how to keep bees as well.
